Applegate has been a premium cellulose insulation for over 30 years and during that time we have ceaselessly sought to improve our performance and quality.
Applegate meets and often exceeds the standards of loose-fill cellulose insulation as described in the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) C 739, Consumer Product Safety Commission Standard, 16 CFR Part 1209, and the Federal Trade Commission Standard, 16 CFR Part 460.
In order to meet and or surpass these standards Applegate utilizes third party testing. The third party testing which Applegate utilizes is not required by law, but it is required by our sense of duty to homeowners and contractors who use the product. We seek to provide the best possible insulation to reduce energy demands, keep you safe and to provide lasting peace of mind and comfort. NAHB is a Washington, D.C.-based trade association whose mission is to enhance the climate for housing and the building industry. Chief among NAHB’s goals is providing and expanding opportunities for all consumers to have safe, decent and affordable housing. As “the voice of America’s housing industry,” NAHB helps promote policies that will keep housing a national priority.
Founded in 1942, NAHB is a federation of more than 800 state and local associations. About one-third of NAHB’s more than 175,000 members are home builders and/or remodelers. The remaining members are associates working in closely related fields within the housing industry, such as mortgage finance and building products and services.
The association is member-driven, with a professional staff of more than 300 in Washington. More than 2,800 members serve on the association’s board of directors, which elects the association’s Senior Officers and helps set the association’s agenda. Headwaters Builders Association
Headwaters Builders Association (HBA), chartered in 1993 and affiliated with the Wisconsin Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), is a proactive professional organization dedicated to providing quality attainable housing in northern Wisconsin.
We currently have just over 100 members, including builders, subcontractors, building suppliers and related businesses in Vilas, Oneida, Lincoln and surrounding counties. The Headwaters Builders Association keeps its members in touch with the latest innovations, designs and technology to give Northwoods residents the best possible homes.
America's housing industry has been refining building crafts, introducing new techniques in energy performance, comfort, design, easy maintenance and much more. Today's home is a marvel of modern engineering and technology with more than three thousand component parts. The components pass through many hands, and a professional builder is able to assemble them into a fine finished product of which both the owner and builder will be proud.
Professionals belong to their local Home Builders Associations. Membership allows them to keep up with the latest information in the building industry, enabling them to build a high-quality home in today's competitive market, giving their customers the most for their money.
